Product definition and principle
Double-opening lead door, also known as double-opening radiation-proof lead door, is a protective door that blocks and absorbs radiation such as X-rays through the shielding effect of lead. Because the structure of lead is tightly arranged, its atomic structure will not be destroyed as quickly as other materials such as gold, copper, and iron under the irradiation of radiation, so it can effectively play a role in radiation protection. When X-rays penetrate thicker lead plates, scattered beams will be generated. Double-opening lead doors use two thick lead plates spliced together, with an open structure separated by a narrow gap in the middle. When X-rays pass through the gap, two shadow images in opposite directions will appear.
